We know him as the antihero from Dobbelt A. Niarn. Niels Shahverdi Roos. The rapper from Aalborg who went on to create the soundtrack for an entire generation during the Danish hip-hop scene of the 2000s. With classic releases such as his debut Årgang ’79 and the follow-ups Antihelt and Rød Aalborg, he took the country by storm.
With success came a fast-paced, party-filled life in the fast lane, which came to an abrupt halt when Niarn disappeared into temptation and put addiction above humanity. In 2014, following a stay in intensive care, Niarn announced that he was ending his career. But hope rose from the ashes, and in 2022 he sold out Store VEGA within hours. The overwhelming response led to a subsequent nationwide tour in two rounds.
Niarn is — and remains — immortal. With a timeless back catalogue that still pulses in the hearts of his fans, he prepares for another dance. In autumn 2026, Niarn once again hits the road on his new Danish tour.
