Formed in 1982 in Essen, Germany, under the name Tormentor, Kreator have since helped define not only the German metal scene but the entire European thrash scene alongside names like Destruction and Sodom. Kreator’s sound is brutal, uncompromising, and technically razor-sharp, and their influence on other metal genres cannot be overstated.
With classics like Endless Pain and Pleasure to Kill, Kreator forged a sound that still feels fresh and dangerous even four decades later. Frontman Mille Petrozza and the rest of the band continue to deliver shows with an intensity that leaves audiences reeling – and the Poolen concert will be no exception.
