After two years away from the city, Kidd is back in Copenhagen, marking his return with a major show that celebrates the streets, the people, and those who have been there since the beginning. Copenhagen is where everything started for Kidd. In 2011 he uploaded *Kysset med Jamel* with no expectations beyond a few friends hearing it, and within days the entire country was looking toward Nørrebro. It became the beginning of a movement that changed Danish rap permanently.
Kidd’s status as one of the most groundbreaking figures in Danish rap was reaffirmed this year when Soundvenue named his debut album *Greatest Hits 2011* one of the most pioneering Danish albums of the century. They described how Kidd redefined what it means to become a Danish superstar and proved that you can break the industry open from the inside with confidence, creativity, and the culture of the internet generation.
Since then, he has continued to shape the scene, both through iconic tracks from his breakthrough and newer favorites like *Bare Dans*, *Buongiorno*, and *Hovsa*. On stage he has shown in recent years that his energy has only sharpened, with multiple sold-out shows at Vega and most recently three sold-out nights in Aarhus at Volume Village as evidence.
"I’ve Missed Copenhagen" is not just a concert. It’s Kidd’s homecoming.
