Musikforeningen 5-øren presents Luftens Helte ft. Lars Thiesgaard – The Man of a Thousand Voices
The words ring out like a battle cry for an entire generation who grew up with Disney Sjov on DR. In spring 2027, Luftens Helte (“Heroes of the Sky”) are going on tour – named after the iconic line from the theme song of “Darkwing Duck” – with a brand new show.
The 20 musicians take you on a musical journey through iconic hits from classic animated films such as The Lion King, Disney Sjov, Mulan and Tarzan. And this time with none other than Lars Thiesgaard as a guest – the voice behind countless cartoon characters such as Sorteper, Georg Gearløs, Bubbi, Don Karnage and Pumbaa. “Hakuuuuuna Matataaaaa!” – that’s all it takes before you hear his voice come alive for you.
It’s a blast of a Luftens Helte concert, just as you know it, but with the nostalgia and humor turned up a notch – infused with authentic cartoon magic in the form of Lars Thiesgaard, coming straight from the world of the films. He sets the scene and spices up the experience with song lines from the films, wonderful punchlines and iconic catchphrases, exactly as you remember them.
