About Poolen

Back in the day, abandoned warehouses were everywhere. Out-there parties sprung out of these spaces, spearheaded by enthusiastic DIY-communities. But times have changed and cities have changed too.

In Copenhagen there is only one wasteland left. Refshaleøen. Although the city has always been close, it’s closing in fast and time is running out.

Out there, at the end of a road between a pool of water and a junkyard, we have created the quintessential warehouse venue: Poolen.
