Since his debut in 2019, Morad has established himself as one of Spain's most prominent hip-hop artists. His breakthrough came with the single "Un cuento". Without support from record labels or radio, he built his success organically as an independent artist. With each release, his popularity has grown steadily. Thanks to his versatile style, which spans from drill to trap and classic rap to UK garage, he reached over 100 million streams in 2020 with hits like "Motorola" and "Normal". In 2021, he followed up with major hits like "Cómo están?", "Soñar", and "Pelele".
Morad hails from one of Barcelona's most socially challenged suburbs, which is evident in his authentic, ghetto-romantic lyrics. Through his music, Morad shares personal experiences that also resonate with the Danish youth.
In 2023, Morad released his long-awaited album “Reinsertado”, which debuted as the fourth-best Spanish album ever on Spotify and achieved significant success in multiple countries. He has collaborated with major international artists such as Ozuna, Jul, Central Cee, and Eladio Carrión, expanding his reach far beyond Spain's borders. Morad has toured Europe, selling out venues in major cities such as Madrid, Barcelona, Milan, and Copenhagen, where he most recently performed at a sold-out Amager Bio. Known for challenging the conventions of the music industry, Morad stays true to his roots, securing a strong connection with his generation.
In 2025, Morad embarks on his third and largest European tour to date, with a show at Poolen on February 15.
