Following a critically acclaimed concert in Denmark in 2023, the stage is set for another special musical celebration when the English duo returns for a repeat on April 12, 2025.
Franc Moody draws their inspiration from the greatest moments in funk and disco history, from '70s legends like Chic, Rick James, George Clinton, and Sly Stone, to the synthesizer-driven electro-funk of the '80s, and even more contemporary names like Jamiroquai, Jungle, Metronomy, and Daft Punk during the "Random Access Memories" era.
Behind the project are two English musicians, Ned Franc and Jon Moody. They met in London’s club underground in the 2010s, where they quickly joined forces, and began their journey into the music. They debuted in 2018 with the aptly titled EP "Dance Moves," and in 2020, they released their debut album "Dream In Colour." Besides making music and DJing together, they also run their own label, House of FM.
Their latest studio album, "Into the Ether," was released in 2022, but since then, the duo has also released the remix album "Love in C Minor (Franc Moody Remix)" and two singles in 2024: "Going Through the Motions" and "Fantasy" – the latter in collaboration with the Australian duo Cosmo’s Midnight.
